International Business School is a private university that offers comprehensive BSc, MSc, MBA and PhD programmes in different fields of management with its strategic partners, The University of Buckingham (UK) and Dublin Business School (IE) on two campuses, Vienna and Budapest. Graduates receive British/Irish degrees for lower tuition fees than in the UK/Ireland.

The language of tuition is English.

IBS is one of the most student-friendly universities in Central Europe with its small-group classes (no lectures!), practice-oriented education, focused on skills development and excellent student support services, attracting students from over 100 countries.

All BSc, MSc and PhD programmes are offered on theBudapest Campus, whereas the Vienna Campus hosts the MSc in International Management programme.

IBS offers the following MSc programme with block delivery in Vienna that allows you to work full-time if you wish with a September 2025 start: International Management 

IBS offers practice-oriented education only in small and interactive classes. The programme encourages you to question the way management and business processes operate in an organisation. The open and critical thinking we help you to develop is highly valued by employers.

Zielgruppen

Students with a first- or second-class Bachelor degree who are interested in a truly international and practice-oriented British postgraduate education in Vienna.

Aufnahmebedingungen

For admission to the MSc in International Management programme we require a first- or second-class Bachelor degree in any field of studies and sufficient English level (e.g. IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 79, Duolingo 120 etc. see website for a full list).

Applicant has to pass the online Orientation Interview after the application fee payment.

Kosten

The overall tuition fee of all MSc programmes is EUR 12,800 that can be paid in 2 instalments.

For non-EU citizens there is a registration fee of EUR 900 to be paid with the first semester tuition fee.

The Vienna Master’s Scholarship offers 10-35% discount from the first tuition fee payment, based on the CGPA of the Bachelor’s degree.

All BSc programmes on the Budapest Campus have a semester fee of EUR 4000 which has to be paid for 6 semesters.

Dauer der Ausbildung/Weiterbildung

The study period of the MSc programme in Vienna lasts 3 semesters: semester 1 and 2 have on-campus classes, semester 3 is dedicated to dissertation writing without any classes. 

The schedule is work-friendly, classes are on weekday evenings (6-9 p.m.) and on Saturdays (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) over two semesters. 

Abschluss

Graduates receive the Master of Science degree of The University of Buckingham that is rated Top in the UK for student satisfaction since 2006 as well as Top in the UK for Teaching Quality, for Student-Staff Ratio and for Student Experience.
